A PROMISE TO THE PEOPLE BEHIND OUR GEAR, AND THE COMMUNITY WHO BACKS IT.

A PROMISE TO THE PEOPLE BEHIND OUR GEAR, AND THE COMMUNITY WHO BACKS IT.

A PROMISE TO THE PEOPLE BEHIND OUR GEAR, AND THE COMMUNITY WHO BACKS IT.

The people behind our gear are a huge part of our story, and looking out for them matters to us.

And to you, our community… We know that transparency builds trust. So, we promise to be upfront about the people and partners who help make LSKD the gear you can count on.

The wins, the work we still have to do and the impact we’re committed to make. Like everything in Project Earth, it's about being 1% better every day.

OUR NON NEGOTIABLES

Before any factory makes a single piece for us, they sign our Supplier Code of Conduct. Think of it as the rulebook for looking after the wildly talented people who make our gear.

NO CHILD LABOUR

Workers must be at least 15, or older if local law says so. Nobody under 18 does dangerous work.

NO FORCED LABOUR

Everyone chooses to be there and can leave. Workers never pay to get a job, and they keep hold of their own ID.

SAFE WORKPLACES

Safe, healthy factories with the right protective gear, and safe housing where it's provided.

FAIR PAY

At least the legal minimum wage, paid on time and in full, with paid leave and no unfair deductions.

REASONABLE HOURS

Hours within the law, at least one day off a week, and overtime is always a choice.

RESPECT AT WORK

No harassment, abuse of discrimination, and the right to join a union.

NO BANNED MATERIALS

Nothing from our banned materials list goes into LSKD gear.

UPHOLD THE STANDARD

Signing the Code is just the start. Our commitment is to stay connected with our makers, so we're confident those standards are being lived out on the factory floor.

1) INDEPENDENT AUDITS

An independent auditor - who doesn't work for us or the factory - heads on site, goes through records like payroll and timesheets, and talks to workers directly. It gives us an unbiased view of how things are really running.

We ask all our makers, new and existing, to share their audit reports with us, and we accept a range of trusted global programs, including amfori BSCI, Sedex SMETA, WRAP, SLCP, SA8000 and Better Work. If an audit flags something, we work with the factory to fix it, and if they won't, we can stop placing orders.

2) SEEING IT FOR OURSELVES

Reports only tell part of the story, and nothing beats IRL connection. so our team gets out there. Over the past year alone, we have visited over 50% of our makers across Sri Lanka, Vietnam, China, Thailand, Pakistan and Indonesia.

It's how we build real relationships, meet the beautiful people BTS, double-check what the audits say and check the conditions with our own eyes.

LSKD'S ETHICAL FASHION SCORE

We know it matters to our community to understand who makes your gear, and how our industry affects the planet and its people.

We missed the chance to take part in the survey for Baptist World Aid's 2026 Ethical Fashion Report, and that's on us. As a result, LSKD scored 2 out of 100, based only on what we'd made publicly available. And honestly, there wasn't much out there. Until now.

We're bloody proud of the people, suppliers and communities behind our gear, but we haven't done a good enough job of sharing their stories or the work we're doing. This page is our first step in changing that.

We believe trust is built through transparency, so we're committing to take part in next year's Ethical Fashion Report. This is a fail-forward moment for us, and we welcome the tough questions. It's how we get 1% better.

We'll keep sharing our progress as we go. We're in this together, so if you've got a question about how your gear is made, we'd love to hear it. Reach out to us.
