OUR CHARITIES

It is our mission to inspire you to be 1% better every day through sports, fitness and adventure.

As we pursue this mission we have found that it is often the work and attitude of inspiring individuals that band together to create a community which really inspires change. The growth of our community in recent years has opened us up to new challenges faced by those that are close with us and has inspired us to reach out and give a helping hand where we can.

The organisations shown here are those that we are constantly supporting and working with.

LSKD Value 2/6 Create A Community
“Our community is why we are here and who we work for.”

The National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) has been funding game-changing research into areas of prevention, detection, quality of life and a new and improved treatment since 1994. In 28 years NBCF has funded $190M into 575 world-class research projects.

Early detection gives the best possible chance of survival so it is vital that all women regardless of socio-economic situations are 'breast aware' - that is familiar with the normal look and feel of their breasts so they can seek medical advice should they identify any unusual changes (such as a new lump).

We've designed, developed and released a number of Breast Cancer collections all in support of the NBCF. With proceeds from every piece going towards the NBCF, it also provides a conversation piece for our community to continue raising awareness about breast cancer as they wear their items. These collections are something that we aim to work on every single year to keep supporting the NBCF, with a total of $96k and counting donated to the foundation so far.

Every June, we have a rainbow takeover at LSKD… and it’s all about inclusivity.

Wear It Purple strive to foster supportive, safe, empowering and inclusive environments for rainbow young people. With four key focus ares of awareness, opportunity, environment and collaboration, they are leading the way when it comes to inclusivity.

Our yearly Pride collection in June is at the front of our work with Wear It Purple. Our 2021 and 2022 collections have helped us donate $38k to date. These funds go towards services that raise awareness about sexuality, sex and gender identity to challenge harmful social cultures for young LGBTQIA+ people across Australia.

Fly your flag and let's make a difference.

Leukaemia is a form of blood cancer that claimed the life of one of our amazing LSKD team members. It is a condition that will always remind us of an amazing individual who we all cherished. Every single year, we raise funds for the Leukaemia Foundation through warehouse sales and the team taking part in the World's Greatest Shave. This is actually why our Founder and CEO Jason Daniel has blonde hair so often.

The Leukaemia Foundation helps Australians with blood cancer. They offer wraparound health services, fund leading-edge research and campaign for change alongside our community. They aim to improve the quality of life of anyone impacted by any kind of blood cancer. They push boundaries and look towards a brighter future; because survival isn’t enough.

Their big goal is to make sure zero lives are lost to blood cancer by 2035.
