TEAM LSKD vs. THE SUN
355km. 8,300m of elevation. One sunrise to beat.
Red Bull: Race The Sun is widely regarded as the hardest team running race in Australia — and this year, Team LSKD lined up at Currumbin, Gold Coast, ready to take it on.
Six runners. Relay-style. Mountains, trails, and open road stretching all the way to Tenterfield, NSW, racing against the light to hit the finish-line before sunrise.
Team LSKD didn't just show up — they fought for every kilometre. Through injury, fatigue, and the relentless grind of a 24-hour race, they refused to quit. They crossed the finish line in 4th place, just 20 minutes after the sun crept back over the horizon. So close. So hard-earned.
This is what the LSKD community is built on — not just training for comfort, but chasing the hard stuff with everything you've got.
We captured the whole journey on camera. The pain, the laughs, the moments where giving up would've been the easy option. Watch the full video below and see what it actually looks like to Race The Sun:
